Viruses and Trojans

How to recognize a virus Your computer may run slowly,  or it could stop for a while. Some files may become corrupt and not allow you to open them. If this happens to a system file, you may not even be able to open Windows. In short, if unusual things are happening, suspect a virus.

The Remedy If you suspect you have a virus on your computer I may be able to clear it by updating your virus checker and doing a scan assuming you have a virus checker installed, otherwise I will install a virus checker for you. However I may not be able to undo the damage the virus has done. In extreme cases it may be necessary for me  to backup your files, wipe your hard disc clean  and reinstall Windows.
