Upgrades

An extra hard disc, more memory, a DVD writer or perhaps latest edition of Windows. All these will extend the useful life of your computer.  However there comes a point where the processor, which is not easily upgradeable, will find the strain too much and  run slowly.

I can advise on which upgrades are suitable for your computer and which are not. Sometimes it makes economic sense to buy new. However this does not necessarily mean replacing the whole system.  It is possible just to replace the processor unit, or tower  and retain your monitor, printer and scanner.  

In most cases it should be possible to do the upgrade without taking your computer away. All replacement components  are supplied at cost,  I do not add any markup. You simply pay for my time.
